Interview: Lama Peach
As the ASOS marketplace is the coolest way to shop these days online (darrrling) I decided to check out the buzz for myself, I did see some very interesting designers and online vintage shops but one label that caught my adolescent eyes was Lama Peach. I couldn’t believe at first glance that a pair of brand spanking new boots could be capable of looking so weather-beaten and loved.
Lama Peach is Helen Fitch’s altar ego and has been apart of her since her youth, Having had many years in the fashion world she decided leave the comfort of someone else’s company to produce her own in the year 2007. The concept is to erect a line of boots and flats for the fashion conscious and expose a individual look from all the rest futhermore she shunned away the mass-production as Lama Peach desired her customers to be unique and create a ‘limited’ feel and that you do not always get from Topshop as from past experiences.
Today Lama Peach is alluring huge amount of interest and has strong loyal customers who crave her designs, exclusively for SKIR Emma aka Lama has generously answered a few questions and here they are below.

What inspires you when designing a pair of shoes ?
Feelings, emotions, trends, leathers and textures.
What is your best-seller ?
We sell well across the board but this season our laser cut boots and ballerinas have been great!
Which celebrity would you like see your shoes on ?
We’ve been extremely fortunate to have the wonderful Fearne Cotton wearing our SPIKE boots this season. Who could ask for more?!
What is your highest moment of your career ?
Seeing people wearing the boots, knowing people are buying the brand and all the lovely comments we receive from our customers.
What is behind the name ‘Lama Peach’ ?
A passion, a dream and a vision.
- Where do you produce your shoes ?
All our boots and shoes are made in Italy in a small artisan factory.
Name three things you like ?
John Galliano, brilliant! Big Fish (Tim Burton movie) equally as brilliant and Beetroot, delicious!

What is the plan for the future ?
Continuing to grow and delight. A shop perhaps?!
